Mission Statement

Our program, in the image of St. Francis of Assisi, is committed to providing quality education to compassionate and caring professionals with an aspiration to serve their community. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that delivers excellent patient care, spiritual support, educational opportunities, and a diverse and safe culture.  We will model the ideals of St. Francis while providing an academic environment that develops quality physicians with a caring methodology. 

Program Aims
It is the ultimate goal of St. Francis Medical Center to create life-long learners who are motivated by a desire to improve the overall health of their community, specifically those most at risk of suffering from health care disparities. Our objectives will be met by utilizing the ACGME core competencies, outcomes-based milestones, and hands-on training within a diverse patient population.
