Cardiovascular Care

St. Francis offers a full range of cardiovascular services including prevention, diagnosis, treatment and recovery options. We also offer the only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI in Northeast Louisiana, accredited by the American College of Cardiology (ACC). St. Francis earned this accreditation because we have proven exceptional competency in treating patients with heart attack symptoms and have primary PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention, also known as coronary angioplasty) available 24/7 every day of the year.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in Louisiana. And it’s one of the most preventable. Knowing your risk factors—and taking steps to control them—can greatly reduce your chances of developing the disease.
